Friday nights are our weekly family night. I'm sure I've mentioned it here before, and with my memory, probably I do every week! ha
Anyway, this was Cala's time to choose our supper (always on these nights, it's something cheap and easy to make), as well as our "family night treat", and an activity for the evening. She chose well.... We had grilled cheese sandwiches (which I love making on the George Foreman grill) and tomato soup. For "treat" (dessert), she chose mint chocolate chip ice cream.
For our activity, Cala decided on going to a park we've all wanted to visit but had not yet done since we moved here! It's in the town where we do our shopping. We all had a great time! You could tell the kids really enjoyed the different playground equipment and of course we all enjoyed the fresh air. (which after living in this kind of climate, we truly cherish!!!! Did I mention it was an extremely looonnngg winter?!)
The weekend awaits......

This is such a wonderful tradition...wish I could go back and do it...alas, I'll be down to one child home all too soon...
These verses have always given me comfort. Still praying!
1 John 1:1-4 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
